Trivial Pursuit: 80’s Edition

Trivial Pursuit 1980SI can’t believe it! Trivial Pursuit 1980s is out. Yeah, now I’m feeling a bit old.

But check out the game pieces! A Trapper Keeper, Care Bear, a CD, and what looks like a TRS 80 (though I could be wrong there). Too fun! atrivia.jpg

Go here and you can even try out a few of the sample questions, as well as see some of your favorite 80’s celebs as they look today.

Thanks, Jack, for the heads up! Now, who’s up for a game?

BTW-One way you can tell you’re still stuck in the 80’s: You hear your 2 year old telling your 5 year old to “chill out!” Can’t imagine where he learned that from. :?

  2. Kerri Says:

    Woohoo!!! Game night. :D

  3. Doug Says:

I’m coming over! I’ll smoke both of you!

  4. Kerri Says:

Dream on….although I did miss a couple of those sample questions that I linked to. Oh well, good thing I’m not competitive. I just like playing games! :D

  5. jackie Says:

Sorry Doug. You underestimate my knowledge of the worthless.

  6. Kerri Says:

Jackie’s Brain = vat of trivia

  7. Kerri Says:

BTW-I’m not going to be the Care Bear…

  8. jackie Says:

We’ll make kelli be the care bear.

  9. Kerri Says:

Fair enough. I think she actually owned one of those things. Though, she claims that she hates to play games. We’ll have to make her. :D

  10. Kelli Says:

There is nothing wrong with being a Care Bear, but why couldn’t they pick a better one than tenderheart bear? I only hate playing games where you have to be stupid, silly, funny, or mold things out of clay! I believe this game involves none of the above.

what really stinks is that doug and I would love to be playing this with you ……..cause it would be the world’s most entertaining hour(s) ever! I hope to sometime have the opportunity to have an 80’s game night with doug, me, jackie and you kerri. I’ll wear a polo shirt with the collar up just for the occasion!!!!!!!!!!

  12. Kerri Says:

Yeah right, as if you don’t wear that polo with the collar up everyday, anyway, just because you like it. :) Now, where are those jelly bracelets I bought?

  13. lisa Says:

    oh yeah???

well how bout this…..I’ll wear z. cavaricci pants and roll and tuck the cuff in my socks………how about that??

or, wear a bandana in my belt loops….

    remember that stuff?

honestly I would be more likely to wear the pants….doug had a pair and I bought a pair too back then, I absolutely loved those pants!!!!!!!

  14. Kerri Says:

Kelli: The fact that you knew that Care Bear by name….scary. And who, exactly, would be a better CB to represent the whole lot? :D

Sounds like game on in a few weeks!

Lisa: I’ll start working on my breakdancing moves.

  15. Toni Says:

That is soooo interesting. I hope they have Rainbow Brite and My Little Pony questions. =D

  16. Kerri Says:

Toni: Thanks for commenting! I think I’d stink at those questions. Give me some sitcom questions, and I’m on fire! :D

[…] I mentioned earlier that I was going to be playing the Trivial Pursuit: Totally 80s game. Last weekend, I got my chance. I’ll tell you what, there’s a whole lot of useless information pertaining to the 80’s! More than I could have imagined. Yeah, I probably did better on it than I would have done playing the original Trivial Pursuit game, but still ended up feeling like an idiot when all was said and done. […]
