80’s Movies Monday, Best of the Worst: Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure

Bill & Ted's Excellent AdventureHappy Monday! Time again for the Best of the Worst of the 80’s movies.

Duncan Riley, who writes at duncanriley.com, offered up three beauts for submission into this category. He says:

Worst..I’m going straight for the sequels:
Caddyshack 2
Lethal Weapon 2

and a non sequel
Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure
Totally…Excellent…not!

Bald Man is always preaching to me on the hilarity of Caddyshack, but I can’t honestly say that I’ve ever even heard him mention the sequel. I’m guessing now that it’s not just an oversight.

I loved Bill and Ted, but it is another one of those movies that I can’t honestly remember seeing anytime in the last decade or more. Time borrow to that one from the library and see how much my tastes have changed! I can honestly say that Keanu Reeves is still a cutie, though. :)

Thank, Duncan, for participating! :)

btw-Have you voted in the Harrison Ford poll in the right sidebar? ;)

And, since reading that post, I haven’t been able to get away for more than a few minutes without, “Something So Strong” running through my head. At least it’s no longer the theme to Charles in Charge though, aye? That really was annoying. […]
