American Top 40 with Casey Kasem
I was driving my daughter to swim lessons the last few Saturdays and turned on the radio to hear Casey Kasem announcing American Top 40!
One of our local radio stations, WMMX, replays what, apparently, is the American Top 40 Flashback production. Wow. Listening to that brought me right back to sitting in my childhood bedroom, listening to my big black boombox (or was that one silver?), hoping that my parents wouldn’t assign some chore to me that would prevent me from hearing “This week’s number one song…”
Now, I don’t know if I could name any of the top 100 songs in a given week. Oh well, at least I can still catch my favorite 80’s tunes. And so can you, via their on-line connection. Dayton’s gift to you.
