Just Crimp It with a Crimping Iron

crimpiron.jpg BIG hair was big fashion in the 80s, and I admit to using a crimping iron on my hair now and then, especially when I was headed out for a night out clubing at hot spots like “Spit” in Orlando.

My hair is very fine and back then, very, very long, so it usually took me about an hour to crimp my hair. But, I thought I looked great. One good thing still, though, about crimping irons is that for those with super fine hair who also live in humid climits, you don’t have the same issues as you do when you curl your hair and then five minutes after you walk out the door it is as straight as a board.

Believe it or not, hair crimping is not necessarily totally out of style these days. I even found a number of articles on line about it: To Crimp or Not to Crimp; How to Use a Crimping Iron; and Big Hair.
