Once a New Kid on the Block, Joey McIntyre will soon be a new kid on the stage, as he joins the Happy Days musical in California.
Classic TV comedy Happy Days has been turned into a stage musical starring former New Kid on the Block Joey McIntyre. McIntyre will resurrect Arthur ‘Fonzie’ Fonzerelli, the character originally brought to life by Henry Winkler in the 1970s series.
The show’s original creator Garry Marshall is producing the show at a theatre he owns in Burbank, California.

A 32-year old Elvis impersonator from Nova Scotia, J.D. Fortune, is living his dream: He gets to be the lead singer of INXS thanks to reality show Rock Star: INXS.
The “crazy idea” of the show came from Kirk Pengilly, who plays sax and guitar in the band. There were varied degrees of resistance and shock among his bandmates; the most adamant against the idea was Andrew Farriss (one of the band’s three Farriss brothers along with Tim and drummer Jon).

Apparently, one of George Clooney’s regrets in life is starting his career in the 1980’s because he feels that it was “the worst decade in fashion history.”
Gasp!
Bad fashion in the 80’s? But … how could he possibly not love balloon pants and shoulder pads?
It baffles the mind.
