This is named in honor, of course, of the most spectacular ruined ‘80s careers ever, those of Coreys Haim and Feldman.

Once on top of the world and on every Bop and Tiger Beat cover, “the two Coreys” succumbed to partying, drugs, and overall obnoxiousness and saw their acting gigs—-and millions—-flushed down the crapper.
Even worse than the drugs was Corey Feldman’s obsession with Michael Jackson. Remember how he used to dress like him all the time?

Oh, the ‘80s…those halcyon days of yore. The music, the movies, the clothes. Man, the clothes. The fluorescent shoelaces alone were enough to burn your retinas. Will anything ever be that wonderful again?

Troop Beverly Hills is one of my all-time favorite movies (though you’ll hear me say that a lot, because I have a lot all-time favorites).
The Premise: A spoiled, Beverly Hills divorcee, whose main skill in life is shopping, agrees to become her daughter’s “Wilderness Girl” troop leader, to the dismay of Velda Plendor, Wilderness Girls’ Second in Command. The animosity that Velda feels towards the Beverly Hills troop inspires much hilarity, as she sets out to sabotage everything the Beverly Hills troop does. Because the 80s rocked! Everytime I think back on my favorite memories, I inevitably end up back in the 80s. The 80s are responsible for my love of films and my love of video games (my love of books came in 1990, so I can’t give the 80s credit for that one).
